Useful claims must be supportable claims
The Epoxy Science name raises the standard for accuracy. It does not lower the threshold for uncertainty.
Sourcing and technical accuracy
Technical claims should be traceable to the most direct reliable source available. Product documentation is matched to the product and revision. Test values are not detached from their test methods, cure conditions, units, or assembly context.
Safety claims
Coverage involving exposure, sensitization, ventilation, respiratory protection, skin protection, fire, or other hazards receives elevated scrutiny. Government occupational-health sources and the current product SDS take priority. We do not offer unsupported medical conclusions.
Research-based and hands-on coverage
Research-based work and documented hands-on testing are labeled separately. We do not convert manufacturer claims into personal observations or imply laboratory testing that did not occur.
Corrections and updates
Material errors should be corrected promptly. Substantive technical revisions should update the page date; evolving product documents and unresolved source conflicts should be noted where they affect the decision.
Affiliate independence
Affiliate eligibility is not evidence of suitability. Recommendations should follow the reader’s use case, documented product fit, limitations, and safety—not commission rate or availability alone.
