Sources used

We prioritize manufacturer technical data sheets (TDS), safety data sheets (SDS), installation instructions, specifications, and official support documentation. Reputable distributor information may fill a limited gap when primary material is unavailable, and that limitation should be visible.

How products are compared

Relevant documented characteristics may include system type, intended use, mix ratio, working time, application thickness, substrate compatibility, temperature limits, cure schedule, coverage, maintenance, safety documentation, and technical support. The useful factors depend on the task; a universal score often hides more than it reveals.

Research is not hands-on testing

We never imply purchase, ownership, installation, unboxing, measurements, durability testing, or user experience unless it actually occurred and the scope is documented. A research-based editorial conclusion is labeled as assessment, not firsthand observation.

Commercial independence

Potential commissions do not determine technical facts. If two documented products suit different conditions, the recommendation should explain that split instead of forcing one winner. See the affiliate disclosure and editorial standards.
